Crystal Etue focuses her practice in matters related to entertainment and family law. These areas allow her to incorporate two of her biggest passions: arts and entertainment and helping families in distress. Her services in the area of family law include but are not limited to complex, high asset and/or high profile divorce, child custody, post judgment modifications and conservatorships. With experience as a veteran of the United States Air Force and Tennessee Air National Guard, as well as time spent working as a high school teacher, Crystal is uniquely prepared to handle family law cases with empathy, objectivity, common sense, discipline, patience, and a proclivity for holding her ground. The analytical skills she developed while stationed at the National Security Agency as a Cryptologic Linguistic Specialist are especially helpful in navigating more complex financial divorces.
Crystal’s entertainment practice offers a broad array of services including contract formation and negotiation, copyright, performance rights and trademark registration. Her education in entertainment and public relations coupled with her background as a Nashville publicist lends a keen insight for entertainment and Esports clientele. She is able to provide her clients with a unique perspective that allows her to protect and advocate for her clients’ interests while keeping an eye out for any potential pitfalls that may affect their publicity rights or reputation management.
Lastly, it is in the burgeoning Esports industry where Crystal has a personal vested interest. As Mom and personal counsel to Fortnite Pro-Player, Morgausse, Crystal takes the fair and equitable treatment of other Esports players very seriously. She is committed to making sure that both the long term and short term interests of young Esports athletes are protected.
Whether she’s representing a spouse, an artist, or an Esports athlete, Crystal’s paramount concern is achieving client objectives. As she assists individuals, parents, and children through the most trying of times or helps musicians, songwriters and Pro-Esports players pursue their dreams, Crystal is committed to providing strong, strategic, and effective solutions designed to meet her clients' needs. Their objectives are her objectives and their success is her success.
While Crystal believes in a collaborative resolution of disputes in order to reduce financial and emotional stress, she is prepared to zealously advocate in court or at the negotiation table for the protection of her clients' rights and entitlements.
